Since 1988, Wills has acted for public and private sector clients on many diverse
and challenging projects. We are proud of our track record. Examples of some of
these projects include the following:

  • Wills is providing design and contract administration consulting services for this
2000+ unit development in the Town of Port Hope.
  • Wills offered solutions with respect to project grading, sanitary servicing
and stormwater management. Challenges were presented as a result
of the topography of the site, environmental sensitivity,
and close proximity to Lake Ontario.

  • Wills delivered design/contract administration services to the
Ministry of Transportation (Northeastern Region) on this
20 km section of Highway 124, between the Municipalities
    of McKellar and Dunchurch.
  • The project involved an extensive public information process,
complex municipal road and servicing designs in the urban areas,
four bridge rehabilitations, and detailed highway design.

  • Wills provided design/build consulting services to the Ministry
    of Transportation (Central Region).
  • The project involved the widening of Highway 401 (from 4 lanes to 6 lanes)
from the Highway 401/Highway 35/115 interchange easterly 7 km.
  • Three bridge rehabilitations were specified, including structural
widening at the Highway 401 overpass structure at Highway 115.
  • The project involved complex design of structure widenings
    and roadway.
  • Several engineering and construction disciplines interplayed efficiently
and cooperatively through the design and construction
    stages of the work.
  • The project’s success was a testament to demonstrated sound design,
contract administration and project management skills.

  • Wills acted as civil design consultants within the design team
on the new PRHC in the City of Peterborough.
  • The project was of a complex nature due to site topographic
constraints and the coordination and installation of municipal
services to the new building while maintaining existing
    services to the existing facility.
  • This long term project commitment involved working cooperatively
    within a multi-disciplined team.

  • Wills conducted functional servicing planning studies to recommend
a feasible site for the new DNA facility at Trent University.
  • Wills also provided follow up detailed engineering design services for
site servicing at the facility, road access and associated
    stormwater management facilities.

  • Wills provided all civil site services design and
contract administration services to Trent University for the above
    new facility and expansion projects.

  • Wills delivered site services design, floodline analysis and contract administration services for this major commercial development in the City of Peterborough.
  • Design services included civil engineering feasibility studies and civil site services design including site grading, site servicing for the multi building project, road access/egress studies and detailed road design from two major arterial streets, parking lot and stormwater management facility designs.
