looking for the services of a Contract Administrator to work on Ministry of Transportation assignments in Northern Region. This is a full time position.
Qualifications of Significance include:
Five years experience as a Contract Administrator on Ministry of Transportation assignments would be an asset.
- Possess the RCCA designation.
- Familiarity with relevant computer software skills.
- Accurate record keeping.

MUNICIPAL PROJECT MANAGER
(12 MONTH (MINIMUM) CONTRACT POSITION
D.M. Wills Associates Ltd. is an expanding Consulting Engineering firm which offers design and construction administration services in the Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Structural and Construction fields. The firm is looking for an individual who has a University Degree in Civil Engineering and licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. This individual should have a minimum of 5 years experience in the Municipal field with a minimum of 2 years as a Project Manager:
- Thorough knowledge and proven experience with provincial and municipal standards for road reconstruction, municipal infrastructure projects, site plans, lot grading, sewer and watermain design,
- Thorough knowledge and proven experience with the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process,
- Experience in liaising with municipal, provincial and other approval agencies,
- Working knowledge of the latest versions of AutoCADD, Land Desktop, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suites,
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, conflict resolution, problem solving, analytical, oral and written skills, together with neat record keeping abilities,

MUNICIPAL DESIGNER
D.M. Wills Associates Ltd. is an expanding Consulting Engineering firm which offers design and construction administration services in the Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Structural and Construction fields. The firm is looking for an individual who has a Community College Diploma as a Civil Engineering Technologist or Technician. This individual should have 5-10 years experience in the Municipal field, have experience with municipal design, stormwater management design and should be eligible to become or is registered with OACETT. Experience as an AutoCADD and Civil 3D trainer will receive the highest consideration. Skills and experience with the following is essential:
- Thorough knowledge of AutoCADD 2008/2009/2010 and Land Desktop 2008/2009 and Civil 3D 2009/2010,
- Good working knowledge of standard GIS software,
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, 2003 or newer,
- Thorough knowledge of site plans, road design, lot grading, sewer and watermain design,
- Familiar with surveying equipment and related software,

WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER
D.M. Wills Associates Limited (Wills), a dynamic and growing multi-disciplinary Consulting Engineering firm will offices in Peterborough, Ottawa and North Bay, has an opening for a professional engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in their Water Resources Group in the Peterborough office. The Water Resources group provides the following engineering services:
- Stormwater management plans for individual sites and master plans;
- Flood plain mapping of drainage courses and balanced cut/fill calculations;
- Hydraulic design for bridges, non-structural and structural culverts;
- Watershed studies for drainage areas ranging in size from less than 1 hectare to larger than 1,000 km2; and
- Investigations for areas experiencing drainage problems.
The individual will have a good working knowledge and relevant experience in water resources engineering, particularly in the areas of infrastructure inspection, stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and a clear understanding of relevant agency, municipal and provincial standards and guidelines. The position requires strong interpersonal skills to provide agency liaison, conflict resolution, problem solving, analytical skills and oral and written skills and the ability to apply good judgment.
Experience with the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Drainage and Hydrology requirements including the Highway Drainage Design Standards and Gravity Pipe Design methodology as well as RAQS approval in Drainage and Hydrology is an asset.
The individual will have experience with the following software - Visual Otthymo, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, HEC-2 and HEC-RAS. Familiarity with HYDAT, CFA, LFA, FishXing, StormCAD and RiverCAD is an asset.
